Carl was one of the main characters in the 2016 adult CG-animated film Sausage Party.
Carl was a sausage who was in the same package with Frank and Barry. Carl was insulted by Brenda because of her attitude, and encouraged Frank to keep looking if things didn't work out.
When Camille Toh bought the sausages (leaving behind Frank and Brenda who escaped from their packages) and took them to her home, Carl along with the other foods soon found out that the Great Beyond isn't what they thought it was. Carl and Barry attempted to escape out the window, but Carl was sliced in half with a knife by Camille and died.
