Bud Grouse is a major character and former antagonist of The Loud House. He is the grumpy next-door neighbor of the Loud Family and he seems to get along with them. As of the episode "11 Louds a Leapin'", he become friends with the Loud family. Like the Louds, he has a big family, but lives alone and far from them.

He is voiced by John DiMaggio who also voices Flip in the same series. In the live-action series, he is portrayed by Peter Breitmayer.

Biography and Personality

Mr. Grouse is an elderly, bald and grumpy neighbor of the Loud family who has his first name was revealed in the Family Tree graphic novel and the episode "The Write Stuff".

In "11 Louds a Leapin", it is revealed that Mr. Grouse confiscates any item of the Loud kids that accidentally end up on his property and has a large extended family that he can barely pay a visit to due to financial difficulties.

In most episodes, Mr. Grouse is shown to be protective with his yard so he can't let anyone trespasses it. He is bribed with certain foods, like Lynn Sr.'s lasagna in exchange for favors.

In "Homeward Bound", Mr. Grouse has clean out his garage and agrees to let Lori rent it as her apartment since she takes a gap year from college.

Trivia

• In the episode "Lock 'n' Loud", it is revealed that he's allergic to walnuts.
• In "Lock 'n' Loud", "The Whole Picture", "Job Insecurity", "Garage Banned" and "Breaking Dad" it is shown that he'll do favors in exchange for Lynn Sr.'s cooking.
