Pure Good Proposal: Jeremy Fitzgerald
So this is my FIRST proposal for this wiki and frankly I'm not sure if this will get approved or not but I hope it does har har
- Even though we don't know much about Jeremy it's clear that he's the opposite of William Afton. Jeremy goes out of his way to try and stop Afton's goals of killing kids he does by investigating the incidents.
- Jeremy is very kind and enjoys drawing with the children in the location. This is shown by how the paper pals are in his office implying that he does like the kids and doesn't wish for harm to the kids.
- He tries freeing the kids souls and even though he couldn't Michael continued his legacy for him, it's likely that without Jeremy Michael wouldn't have tried freeing the kids souls because Michael was continuing …
Merchandise sales does not equal character importance
This blog provides information about an ongoing issue on multiple wikis. It's been created here to give it a permanent home that can be referred to as needed. Commenting is not enabled as it is just for reference.
In the "Cultural impact and legacy" section of Wikipedia's page on Spider-Man is the graph shown to the right that has a ranking for three characters and one group: Spider-Man, the Avengers, Batman and Superman. This graph is being used by a person as their proof of how many stories Spider-Man has appeared in and to rank those characters.
What they are deliberately leaving out is the graph's caption. As shown in the second picture, the caption makes it clear that the graph isn't for the number of comics. It is for how much merchan…
Bless the Lord, O my soul
I looked on another wiki and found out somebody's grandfather died. I prayed for this user, and so now I will pray for everyone here, so if you have any prayer requests, please let me know.
Adopting the wiki
It was discussed last week how it's become necessary to look at getting the wiki adopted. It's also apparent that the edit war that's prompting this is not going to stop.
At the heart of it is one person's attempt to force their beliefs on others and a majority of the edits being made involve the edit war. The behavior of the person in question has long since become harassment and violates the Terms of Use. I've discussed this further in the blog entitled "When headcanon backfires".
Others have made more edits here than I have, but I first came here the earliest of the ten people who have edited in the past two months and I might be in the best position to go ahead with adopting this wiki.
So I am. This is my official announcement that I will…
When headcanon backfires
Everyone becomes a fan of at least one thing in their life. It can be a sport, a type of music or songs by a person or a group, a TV show or movie, a single story or a group of stories written by an author. There are times we may even be a fan of another person because they inspire us or we like what they do. The reasons are endless and so are the things we can be fans of.
When we like something a lot, sometimes we might look at it and decide we like it for a different reason than most other people do. Or, we might decide that we'll interpret that subject differently, even up to the point where what we like about it is opposite of what other people like. Whether it's different by a little or a lot, it's called "headcanon".
To give you an exa…
Projects for the wiki
Since there's an interest in improving the wiki, here's a few ideas of things we can work on to get it into shape.
- Switching the name of the wiki. There's already a "Heroes Wiki" so we don't need to duplicate that. This wiki has "protagonists" as part of its address. If we switch it to "Protagonists Wiki", it matches the address and gives us more flexibility in the characters that are included.
If we do switch to that name, we need to make a point that a character doesn't have to be a hero in order to be here. People sometimes get trapped into thinking they can only be a hero.
- Keep descriptions simple to prevent "protagonist fussing" where people keep arguing exactly what level of a protagonist a character is.
- Avoid Infobox stuffing, w…
Adoption
Hello all,
Recently, this wiki has been plagued by vandalism, misinformation, and a completely unnecessary edit war. This has devastatingly diminished the quality of the wiki, and I feel as though it is way overdue for this wiki to have a revamp and to revitalise itself, starting with the deletion of pages that do not belong here.
I thank those who have reverted the incorrect edits made by GeneralGrievousHero4Life and his countless sockpuppet accounts used to circumvent his global block. With no active admins on this wiki, he cannot be blocked and those pages cannot be removed. That is why I feel obliged to rise up to the task of admin and, with your help, make this a better and more cooperative community that deals in unbiased fact, as oppo…
Is this the Protagonists Wiki or the Heroes Wiki?
The title says the protagonists wiki but the subtitle says the heroes wiki. The opening even says "Welcome to the Protagonists Wiki These are the great heroes who always come to the rescue" so which one is it? I'm confused.
Heroes that are similar to Toy Chica
Toy Chica is the Tritangonist/Anti Villain of Five Nights at Freddy's 2.
Heroes that are similar to her.
