Blisstina "Bliss" Francesca Francia Mariam Alicia Utonium is the overarching protagonist of the 2016 reboot of The Powerpuff Girls, she's the older sister of The Powerpuff Girls and the first known living creation of Mojo Jojo. She debuted in Power of Four as the fourth Powerpuff Girl.

She was voiced by Olivia Olson, who also voiced as Marceline from Adventure Time and Vanessa Doofenshmirtz from Phineas and Ferb.

Appearance[]

Bliss has dark tan skin a purple dress and purple eyes similar to Bunny. Unlike the other Powerpuff girls, she is a teenager, having much wider hips and longer legs. Blisstina has long neon light blue hair, with brighter blue highlights, with a darker blue outline. She wears a pastel blue headband with a pink heart above upon it.

Personality[]

Bliss is the same delightful bundle of joy as the other three girls. However, she doesn't quite meet the same standards of the "perfect little girl". Bliss has emotional instability, where if she feels to strongly about something, whether it be positive or negative, she will lose control of her feelings and powers and cause harm and destruction to people and things around her. Deep down, Bliss is a nice girl and she finds herself rather horrified with who she becomes in this melodramatic state, and she tries her darndest to avoid it. With the help of her younger sisters, however, she is able to do just that and become the crime-fighting hero she's always dreamed of being.

Season 2[]

Episode 23-27: When Bubbles met Bliss, the girls thought she's acting insane again all because she has a imaginary friend, Bubbles got trapped during the movie that they're gonna watch, Blossom and Buttercup did that to Bubbles just so Bubbles can't cause any danger. However when Blisstina was seen, Blossom and Buttercup now believed Bubbles and the Professor uses his shocking pen against Bliss for her to sleep since her power was too dangerous. When Bliss is trapped, Professor needs to take her power since it's too dangerous. However when things worked out, Blisstina's doing pretty fine with her power but Professor don't trust her. Since there's the Chipmunk Commando, Blisstina defeated him but continues attacking him to get him killed. Now the Professor's mad at him, when ME appeared who is Bliss' pet, ME said that the Professor didn't care or neither the girls and then ME turned into HIM as his true form to steal Bliss' power. When HIM turned into a giant monster, he was turning people into inanimate objects and make saturn closer to the earth just so they can split up the earth and kill everyone. However when Bubbles get Bliss back, they form into a giant Powerpuff Girl to stop HIM. When they stopped HIM, things are back to normal especially the saturn is no longer moving. When Blisstina is gonna move to space now to get the Saturn back where it belongs, she said bye bye to her sisters and the Professor while she's gonna return someday.
Episode 31-32: When Bliss visit Townsville to tell about her worst enemy, Sporde, she needed The Powerpuff Girls for help, when Bliss met Sporde disguising as a human, Bliss loved him until she realized she was Sporde all along, when she stopped Sporde, she send him in the jar and bring him to the agents and now Bliss was joined to be the defender of the cosmos.

Trivia[]

Bliss is actually short for "Blisstina", a parody on the name "Christina".
She also has four middle names, "Francesca", "Francia”, "Mariam" and "Alicia" in that order.
Her last name was also mentioned as "Utonium", in her introduction, making this the first time a Powerpuff Girl has ever explicitly stated her last name. This supports the theory that the last names of Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup are also "Utonium", being fathered by Professor Utonium.
She is by far the only Powerpuff Girl in the 2016 reboot who hadn't shown the power to shapeshift.
Her signature color is purple, just like that of Bunny another "fourth Powerpuff Girl" from an episode of the original series "Twisted Sister".
- Also similar to Bunny, she is significantly taller and differently shaped than the standard stature of the other three girls, but not to as much of an extent. They are also unstable in different ways. Bliss with her unstable powers which likely happened due to Chemical W being used to create her rather than X, and Bunny physically due to being made with artificial ingredients with artificial sweetener, dirt, twigs, and random nice items etc.
- One difference between Bliss and Bunny is that Bliss was created before her sisters whereas in the original series, Bunny was created by Bliss's sisters' original 1998 counterparts. However, Bunny didn't last long, exploding in a flash of light, while Bliss managed to survive her instabilities and continues to live on normally.
- Another difference is that Utonium is already aware of Blisstina's existence since he created her first while the girls didn't know about her for a time, but he was never made aware of Bunny's existence at any point in the series at all.
- She is voiced in different Localizations, in the UK Dub she was voiced by Alesha Dixon.
