Asmodeus, better known as Ozzie, is a supporting character and the anti-heroic antagonist in Helluva Boss.
He is the owner of the dinner theater restaurant, both of which are called Big Ozzie's Factory in the last ring. He is also one of the Seven Deadly Sins that embodies the sins of Lust.
Appearance[]
Asmodeus is a sturdy, muscular devil with a great, vivid color. He has a long arm, digitaldy legs, wide chest and narrow waist, and a tail-like feather bunch of three scythes with white, red, black, and ivory.
His head is dark blue, red and white wings protruding from the bunch of the head, running large wings on their chest. He has the green eyes and mouth of the neon shining on the main head. He has a thick cyan hair. There are two additional faces on the right and left, each of them can speak and sing with him. His body is brighter than his head, and he has a heart-shaped light blue nipple. His arms are lighter from their elbows, their legs are black and thinner, and they are tilted with bird-like nails.
Asmodeus wears a navy blue vest with two pairs of shining white stripes in the upper half and a red under shirt with a blue cuffs with a red heart -shaped cuffs. He wears a top hat on his main head. On his feet, there are jagged high heels with red tip. When he first appeared, Asmodeus was wearing a sharp shoulder pad with a lining inside the pink and a purple coat with a lining with a collar. The coat also included a dark fur collar that covered his head.
The complete devil shape of Asmodeus is similar to his normal shape, but he is much larger, and his feathers are all replaced by a large plume of neon blue and pink flames. These flames also appear in his hands and tail wings. His main head, his lamb and bull head, turns into a reddish pink.
Personality[]
Asmodeus has a very proud and arrogant attitude, especially when something contrasts with his reputation of being the embodiment of desire. Asmodeus values consensual desires and despises non-consensual desires, stating that pleasure is important to all involved.
He takes great pride in his status and shows no hesitation in belittling others who are openly sentimental toward his partner, but he is not comfortable with the concept of public sentimentality. There is also a possibility that they feel disgusted. He is also shown to tease and humiliate others regarding their relationship, such as belittling Moxxie who expressed romantic feelings for his wife in Asmodeus' diner.
Asmodeus takes great pleasure in making other demons express their amorous desires, as evidenced by his attempts to persuade Moxxie to sing more erotically during his performances. He also said that when he met Stolas, he wished the prince had not given up his wife and daughter to be with Blitzo, but that he had given up his life for his desire.
Despite all this, Asmodeus is shown to have a liking for Fizzarolli, and expressed concern for him when Millie attacked him. They were also seen hugging Fizzarolli when Moxxie finished singing a love song, and hugging Fizzarolli intimately while telling Moxxie and Millie to go home.
He shows that he cares deeply for Fizzarolli, to the point where he could be furious if something were to happen to her imp. At the end of the episode, Asmodeus began to show his love for Fizzarolli more openly without worrying about what his employees might think, but he threatened to hurt anyone who spoke about his relationship with others.
He also shows sympathy for others, as when Stolas respects Fizzarolli's wishes and sympathetically tells him that he couldn't help even if he wanted to. Furthermore, we strongly oppose the use of artificial means such as aphrodisiacs to force relationships or sex on others.
In Stolas's textual history with Blitzo, the former describes Asmodeus as "invasive in his humor."
Abilities[]
- Typhokinesis - Asmodeus has the ability to manipulate pink and blue smoke, which he can use to generate vast amounts of smoke, teleport, and as a means to materialize other demonic illusions.
- Teleport - Asmodeus can teleport himself and other entities to various locations, appearing in explosions of blue smoke or opening rings of flame to pass through.
- Hallucikinesis - Asmodeus is able to use his smoke to conjure and create illusions in the form of other demons, as seen when he creates illusions of Stella and Octavia while embarrassing Stolas in front of an audience.
- Environmental Manipulation - Asmodeus can distort the colors, atmosphere, and lighting of any room or palace he is in, as shown when Ozzy's locals change when Asmodeus sings his own music .
- Body Manipulation - Asmodeus, like most Sins, has the ability to manipulate and reshape his body for specific purposes. This primarily involves shrinking his natural figure to fit into areas that are normally inaccessible, or manipulating his appearance to suppress some of his more prominent features so that he is not easily noticed or identified. This is done to avoid this people.
- Pyrokinesis - Asmodeus can spontaneously ignite, especially when angry. He can also breathe fire and move by turning into flames.
- Create Portals - Asmodeus can open portals to any desired destination.
- Enhanced Strength - Due to his size, Asmodeus appears to have far above average physical strength, including being able to lift small beings such as goblins within the palm of his hand. He was also able to break marble statues by lightly punching them.
Skillset[]
- Musical Talent - Asmodeus has a very eloquent singing voice. This skill is used as a way to spread his sexy power and opinions.
- Cooking - Unlike Fizzarolli, Asmodeus knows how to cook and is shown cooking for the two of them every day.
- Mechanical Expertise - Asmodeus has some mechanical skills, such as replacing Fizzarolli's broken robot arm with a new one.
