Ao Manaka is one of the deuteragonists in Asteroid in Love. She is an astronomy enthusiast from the Earth Sciences Club who aspires to join the astronomy team.
Appearance[]
Ao is a girl with long purple hair in twin tails and cyan blue eyes. When she was young, she was often mistaken for a boy because of her short hair and her name.
Personality[]
Ao is a quiet type of girl, she used to be very talkative and open, but she had a poor vocabulary, made a lot of mistakes, and as time went by, she felt embarrassed by people laughing at her. Therefore, she became more calm and tried not to talk too much. However, she talks to Mira a lot more than usual. She has a great passion for astronomy. For example, it is hinted that she may have romantic feelings for Mira Konohata when she blushed and crawled away when Mira got too close, but she did not react that way when Mira's sister, Misa Konohata, got closer to her than Mira and almost touched Ao's face with her own face.
