Annie Phillips is a fictional character and one of the main heroes from the 1980 movie Friday the 13th, she was the hired cook of the Camp Crystal Lake who had her dreams destroyed by Pamela Voorhees, who wished at all costs to end the camp to avenge the death of her first and only son, Jason Voorhees. She was portrayed by Robbi Morgan.
Friday the 13th: Part 1[]
Annie was a cheerful and optimistic young girl who had love for both the outdoors and children, she was hired by Steve Christy for the position of cook at Camp Crystal Lake, greatly excited about her opportunity to spend the summer doing what she loved, Annie left home and hitchhiked her way to Crystal Lake with the highest of expectations. Annie is first seen petting a dog in the street, she then stop at a local restaurant to ask for information on how to get to camp, Annie discovers that the camp was 20 miles away and that no public transportation passed through there, a trucker named Enos is convinced by a waitress named Trudy to offer her a ride.
On the way, Annie and Enos are approached by Crazy Ralph, a local who was drunk. he warns her and Enos to leave saying that the camp was cursed and refers to it as "Camp Blood" however, Enos tells Ralph to get lost and keeps driving. Enos tells Annie about several tragedies that occurred for years in Crystal Lake such as Jason Voorhees's drowning in 1957, and the death of two counselors named Barry Jackson and Claudette Hayes that occurred a year later, and who never caught the killer, Annie listen to him but don't take him very seriously, after telling Annie that she'd better come home, Enos leaves her at the crossroads and says goodbye. Annie is approached by a jeep driven by Pamela Voorhees she talks to Pamela, mentioning her love for children, Pamela tells Annie about her life in a romantic version of her early life with her late husband Elias and how she moved to Crystal Lake with him and their first and only son, Jason and became a cook at camp. Annie notices that woman is increasing in speed, Annie asks her to stop several times, but to no avail. Then they pass the road leading to the camp, Annie pointed at her, but Pamela reassures her that she knew a shortcut, Increasingly restless and uneasy, Annie, after asking Pamela to stop several times, resorted to jumping out of the jeep. Injured due to the jump of the moving vehicle, Annie began limping through the forest while Pamela chased after her. After limping through the woods, Annie fell to the ground and was cornered by Pamela, who leaned against a tree and slashed her throat with a hunting knife. After Annie bleeds to death, Pamela puts her back in the jeep, squeezes her and keeps walking and acts like she's still alive. Later on in the evening, Alice Hardy, one of the camp's counselors is fleeing from Pamela after she murdered her colleagues in cold blood, who were also a camp counselors, discovers Annie's dead body in the passenger seat of Pamela's jeep.
