Angela Katherine Piper, also known as Angie Piper, is one of the two main protagonists (alongside Peter Church) and the lead female protagonist/anti-heroine of the Australian crime-thriller television series Stingers. She is a spunky, tough and effective operative of a deep undercover unit of Victoria Police, who is shown to be quite capable at infiltrating criminal organizations and getting close enough to her targets before later taking them down either by herself or with the help of her unit. Although, her sensitivity towards people does at times lead to situations on the job that leave her emotionally conflicted, most notably in season two when she nearly left the police force entirely after the suicide of her target in a buy-bust sting.
In season seven, Angie marries her boss and one-time enemy Luke Harris. However, she soon breaks up him following her near-death confrontation with serial rapist and Harris's archenemy Brett Linton, due to her growing distrust towards Harris for withholding the truth about knowing who Linton was (even after Linton attempted to assault her shortly before she and Harris were married). Some time after splitting up with Harris, Angie discovers she is pregnant, and later gives birth to their son, Josh Harris. Despite agreeing to remain as friends and colleagues, Angie and Harris officially divorce in the penultimate episode of the series in season eight.
She was portrayed by British-born Australian actress Kate Kendall.
