Alice is unique protagonist in Code Geass: Nightmare of Nunnally, she is Nunnally's best friend. She is also a member of the Britannia Special Honorary Foreign Legion, a group of Geass-skilled pilots from numbered regions. Her mission is both to observe Nunnally and to capture the mysterious Mark Nemo, unaware that Nunnally is the pilot.
Personality[]
Alice is a tomboyish girl who is very caring and protects Nunnally when she is in trouble. In reality, she is secretly an agent of the Irregulars, and under the false identity of a junior high school student, she is assigned to monitor Milly Ashford. Nunnally reminds Alice of her deceased paraplegic sister, who she could not save during the fire. Her relationship with Nunnally can be likened to that of Lelouch and Suzaku in the anime. After the final battle with Eden Vital, she cuts her hair short and becomes Nunnally's knight. As a result of the battle, she also lost her Geass. She was last seen helping out with former Irregulars after Ashford Academy became a refugee camp.
Background[]
Little is known about Alice's early life, other than the fact that she tragically lost her paralyzed sister in a fire. Alice blames herself for not being able to save her, and the effects of her tragedy will haunt Alice for the rest of her life. At one point, she became an honorary Britannian and she eventually joined the Britannian Army. It is likely that she volunteered for the military, or was conscripted into a special irregular unit known as the Britannian Honorary Foreign Legion, under the command of Colonel Mudd. Like her other members, her body had been injected with C.C.'s cells. She gives her her advanced Geass abilities. This, combined with advanced training in various fields, made Alice into an elite soldier.
Before the story, Alice is sent to Ashford Academy on a mission to spy on Milly Ashford and her family in the disguise of the new transfer student. Alice met Nunnally Vi Britannia during her school days, after she fought against girls who were bullying her. After she met properly, Nunnally and Alice quickly became good friends.
