Akame (Akame ga Kill!)

Akame, also known as Akame from Demon Sword Murasame, is the heroine of the title along with Tatsumi, the main anti-heroine of the manga series Akame ga Kill!, and the protagonist of the prequel manga Akame ga Kill! Zero. She also appears in Hinowa ga Yuku! as a major supporting character, primarily as Hinata's personal swordsmanship teacher and elder class combat teacher. Akame was initially sold to the Empire along with her sister Kurome to be trained as assassins, but ended up joining the rebels when they were sent to assassinate Night Raid leader General Najenda. He defected and joined the rebel army to overthrow the corrupt monarchy.

Appearance[]

Akame is a pretty girl with long black hair that reaches her knees and red eyes.

She is wearing a dark colored sleeveless top with her white collar and red tie. She wears a red belt with red side skirt covers over her black pleated skirt. She wears it with long black socks and black shoes. She also wears red gauntlets and black gloves. She sometimes wears a long black coat during battle. She is often seen with her Teigu, Murasame. After activating Murasame's trump card, faded red scars remained all over her body.

In Soukai, Akame wears a short black yukata with a white obi, except during wartime. During the war, she wears her usual black sleeveless dress.

Personality[]

Akame appears to be a very serious and ruthless person due to the hellish training the Empire forced on her and her sister, but in the end it is revealed that she is simply socially awkward. It will be. She cares very much about her comrades, and her personal experience with the high mortality rate in war always makes her worry that one of her comrades might not make it. After Tatsumi fights the ogre, she strips his clothes to check the wounds on his body, and Akame rushes to Kageboshiyama to save Hinata, who was almost killed by Yomihime.

She also has a tendency to hide her emotions when it is revealed that her comrades are dead, as seen with Sheele, and Tatsumi is used to it, making it easier for her to deal with it. But this brought her to tears and she said that she would never be okay because losing her friend is the scariest thing anyone can experience. She then smiles as she is comforted by Tatsumi, who resolves that she will not die and will never let her suffer like this again.

However, when she is confronted by her enemies, she shows no mercy towards them and shouts words such as "eliminate" and "imprison", showing her mercilessness and forcing her enemies. It strengthens her resolve to kill. Carrying Murasame's curse, she rarely says such words.

Akame loves to eat, and like her younger sister Kurome, she is also known to be a surprisingly big eater. She is so passionate about food that Sheele points out that she gets furious when the "usually cool" Akame burns her meat, and she is also usually in charge of cooking the base's meals.

Akame is someone who refuses to be ordered around and refuses to be promoted unless ordered to do so. She is tasked with temporarily taking command of the Elite Seven in Najasho's absence, and taking command of Operation Night Raid in Najenda's absence at Revolutionary Army Headquarters. During the campaign in Soukai, she is rejected by Maruge for promotion to captain and ninja after the Battle of Shiranui Fortress, as she is free to act as an infantryman under Hinata's command.
